Bonds superbly to metals, glass and plastics. Does away with unsightly

The “Essential Surface Preparation Guide” for applyingVHB
TM
tapes & Foam tapes.
• Ensure surface is clean and dry all over.
• Best prepared by wiping (one direction only) with 3MVHB
TM
cleaner in conjunction with 3M Surface wipes.
• If heavy oils or greases are present, eliminate these with a degreasing with 3M Citrus Cleaner.
Follow up with 3MVHB
TM
cleaner.
• Use 3M 7447 Scotch-Brite
TM
hand pads for abrading / scuffing harder materials to increase the surface area for
bonding. Follow up with 3MVHB
TM
cleaner afterwards and allow to flash dry.
• For difficult plastics / painted items - especially low surface energy, use 3M 94 Primer.Wipe & allow to flash dry.
