24 Gunnable Adhesives and Sealants ABRASIVES SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE SINGLE SIDED TAPES PACKAGING ADHESIVES DOUBLE COATED TAPES Evo-Stik Gunnable Adhesive This multi-purpose gap filling adhesive provides a high initial grab and powerful bond strength. • Bonds most porous and non-porous substrates • Can be used to bond warped or uneven surfaces and is an alternative to using nails or screws • Suitable for various applications including the bonding of wooden skirting boards, wall panelling and metal fixings. 3M Scotch- Seal™ Sealant • A one component moisture curing general purpose polyurethane sealer that bonds and seals a wide range of substrates. • It skins rapidly and cures quickly and offers good adhesion without primer. • Thanks to its good elasticity, excellent resistance to tearing, ease of dispensing and good environmental resistance, it can be used in a wide variety of applications. BOSTIK BOND- FLEX SILICONE SEALANTS Bond Flex is a range of high performance silicone sealants, which provide waterproof, durable seals, for a wide range of industrial applications. They offer excellent temperature and UV resistance and are available in a variety of colours. Bond-Flex 100HMA This is a high modulus acetoxy curing sealant which is FDA approved. Bond-Flex 200LMA This is a low modulus acetoxy curing sealant which is highly elastic and provides a good level of movement accommodation. Bond-Flex 300LMN This is a low modulus sealant with a neutral, low odour curing system. 3M Weatherban™ Ribbon Sealant • This is a synthetic rubber based, permanently soft sealant. • Develops excellent adhesion when held in compression. • Forms water tight seals around windows and door frames. 5313 Preformed Sealant Strip 3M Scotch-Seal™ Sealant • This is a tacky solid extrusion sealant based on a synthetic rubber. • The sealer is a non-curing type and retains the same properties and consistency after ageing in several different environments including weathering. • It is best applied by placing it directly on the surface to be sealed.
