47 Plastic Tapes SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE ABRASIVES SINGLE SIDED TAPES PACKAGING ADHESIVES DOUBLE COATED TAPES PTFE Plastic Film Tape (Teflon Tape) A range of polyester tapes with high temperature silicone adhesives are available for masking off the connectors prior to gold plating. High temperature masking tapes are also used for roller tinning and wave soldering, the product choice is dependent on critical aspects of the circuit board i.e. temperature. This tape provides an easy release surface by wrapping rollers, plates, belts etc where a build-up of sticky materials, ink and paints would normally occur.
