They offer a quick solution to demarkation with minimum inconvenience. It is recommended to prime your surface before applying tape. Can be applied by hand or applicator. Temperature range -4 - +75 ˚C. Paint can offer a convenient solution via aerosol where the surface is not suitable for tape, it can be hand or applicator applied. It is quick drying and chemical resistant. Sorbents Sorbents or Spillage Kits as some people refer to them can be used in a wide variety of applications ranging from simple maintenance to emergency spillage clean up kits. There are 3 main categories of Sorbents which are outlined below: Maintenance Sorbents Ideal for absorbing oil and other Industrial fluids cleanly, safely and efficiently. Oil Sorbents For absorbing oil not water. Being hydrophobic (repels water), they are ideal for absorbing oil from areas where water may also be present Chemical Sorbents Are the ideal solution for hazardous spill control. They provide very high absorption capacities and are suitable for absorbing a very wide range of liquids – even aggressive acids and alkalis. Barrier Tape A non adhesive tape which marks out and alerts people to hazards in public and high traffic places. Available in red/white, black/yellow and green/white. Also available reflective barrier tape which conforms to EU legislation (directive 92/58/CEE) concerning road safety at night. Ideal for any areas after dark where people’s safety might be compromised. Eg. Shopping Centres, Schools, Thoroughfares etc. Safety Walk Safety is paramount within the work place and in public places, Anti Slip surfacing can offer a solution where slippery surfaces are an issue.
